I have seen a lot of documentaries on this footage and Cryptozoologists still seem to have come to no conclusion on its authenticity? They remain reasonably convinced by the creatures gait, muscle movement and behavior, but I'm just not convinced by it all myself. It does look very realistic, but to me it just looks too good to be true. I also heard that this film was captured before the big movie industry's special effects departments were even capable of creating such a realistic suit such as this. What do you think? I'm guessing a few very talented individuals with a large budget got together and achieved something quite unique for that time.

You should see BBC's attempt It was a very miserable fail. I have proof that its fake! Notice the heel, it extends a little to the back. Watch the film on youtube and see that the heel has an extension on the back! EDIT: That was a mistake, I looked at it wrong.
