I saw a documentary on this once where scientists were discussing if these animals could be cloned from a preserved puppy kept in a jar.

i heard about that too with modern day genetics they may be able to clone one unless they can find an thycline population there interesting videos there stego, and there is something that is hunting the kangaroos and they have no idea what it is. so they may still be alive
